Wild is a specialist production company with strong ties to both the ocean and the environments of the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand. With in house production facilities capable of dealing all formats up to and including HD production Wild is able to offer a complete program production facility as well and field crews and equipment. It carries 5 underwater units including specialist pole cameras and pencil cameras.
















Filming Equipment

Wild’s heavy programming lean towards the ocean environment and underwater has resulted in Wild holding and maintaining a large selection of specialised underwater filming equipment from lighting to cameras. Add to this topside BetacamSP units, DVCam and DV as well as in-house editing. Wild’s often diverse shoots mean that it also has access to some of the most specialised filming equipment available including Hi-Def and Film.

Photography

35mm specialists, Wild had two award-winning photographers on staff. Using Canon EOS-1s, Nikonos Underwater Units and digital cameras, Wild is able to cover most outdoor still’s requirements.

Underwater Photography & Filming Specialists

Wild’s specialist area. Its crews have filmed in some of the most challenging locations on earth and with some of the most sophisticated equipment available. It’s crews bring a new level of professionalism to the industry both in their reputation and the endorcements from any and all science and underwater bodies that they have worked with. Skills include: extreme location specialisation – tropical to Antarctic/arctic including open ocean; sharks and other dangerous subjects; nitrox diving; rebreather diving; underwater communication systems; submarine filming.

Safety when Filming

Wild’s teams are all carry Industrial Medic certification. Its underwater teams are trained in advanced trauma management, defibillator use and carry DAN O2 provider certification. Wild has a clean history without incident – a reputation it prides itself in given the environments and subjects that are its specialty.
